Some Art Journal Pages
I really enjoy making small art journals that I don’t have to show to anyone if I don’t want to. It gives me the space to make very personal art, and to experiment with materials and techniques without any pressure to “get it right.” It’s also a good way for me to flesh out some of the unspoken thoughts and impulses in my head in preparation for larger projects. These pages used a lot of random materials that I had laying around: electrical tape (love the shiny latex sheen), scrapbook stickers, collaged magazine pages, markers, and even nail polish, which creates a cool messy-enamel look.
